What differentiates SAP Transportation Management from other similar products?

The thing I find useful is the connection with the wider SAP ecosystem. For organizations already using SAP, having transportation data connected with other business processes can make things much easier. And I also appreciate is how it brings different transportation activities together in one platform.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The aspect I really appreciate is its connection with the wider SAP ecosystem. For companies that are already using SAP, being able to connect transportation information with other business processes can make communication and coordination easier. And it also reduces the need to manually move information between different systems, which can save time during day-to-day operations.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The area that needs improvement is the user experience for new users. Some of the screens and workflows can take a little time to get used to, particularly when dealing with more advanced transportation planning or configuration. And I also feel that the setup process can be more complicated than I expected.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

From my perspective, I would suggest spending some time understanding the main features before rolling it out across the entire operation. The platform has a lot of functionality, so trying to use everything at once could make the learning process more difficult. And I also suggest to companies that have larger or more complex transportation operations and need better control over planning and day-to-day activities.
