What differentiates SAP CPQ from other similar products?

It’s built to work seamlessly with SAP’s broader ecosystem, ensuring all the moving parts—inventory, pricing, and approvals—stay perfectly in sync.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

What’s particularly impressive is how dynamic and flexible the tool is. The ability to set up approval workflows has been a lifesaver, especially for quotes requiring cross-departmental sign-off. Its guided selling feature helps our sales team build accurate quotes by suggesting compatible services, while we in accounting appreciate how every quote is linked back to real-time pricing and discount rules.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The interface could use some modernization.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

We often deal with projects that require tailored solutions, whether it’s a custom-built structure or a unique material specification. SAP CPQ makes it straightforward to include these custom elements in our quotes, ensuring that our proposals are both accurate and reflective of the client’s specific needs. The automatic pricing updates based on current market rates are also a huge plus.

What do you dislike most about this product?

If there’s one area where SAP CPQ could improve, it would be the initial setup process. It needs time for configuration.
