What differentiates OpenMetal Hosted Private Cloud from other similar products?
OpenMetal researched, developed, tested and deployed a very unique Docker-based solution that no other vendor was able to provide. Additionally, they provided the solution at a lower cost than other vendors with comparable (from a functional perspective) solutions.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
OpenMetal's support is truly phenomenal!
What do you dislike most about this product?
The uniqueness of the solution makes it a bit more difficult for our staff to support directly. However, the OpenMetal staff is so amazing and responsive that this potential problem has never been an issue.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Make sure to speak with the technical staff in addition to the "sales" staff. Provide your goals more than your technical requirements. This will allow OpenMetal to think outside of the box and create a great solution.

What differentiates OpenMetal Hosted Private Cloud from other similar products?
It was imperative to our team that we used a hosted solution that was as close to standard OpenStack as possible so that we could have higher gauntness of compatibility of our systems. That was what OpenMetal provides. They take care of the initial deployment and of course the maintenance and upkeep of the underlying infrastructure allowing our team to focus on software and integrations.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
I'd probably say the support stands out above everything else. It was easy to set up. There were a few back and fourths about some particular environment settings we needed to get squared away but it was a breeze. Over the years OpenMetal has been cost effective and reliable. It serves its function perfectly for us and stays out of the way otherwise. What more can you ask from an infrastructure provider. On the occasions we needed support, they have been surprisingly prompt and thorough.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The nature of this being a hosted service means there are some environment settings that are not exposed to us. While this is rare, we did need to engage support to work through the issues. But , since the support is stellar its not really an issue at all.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
We've used OpenMetal for over 2 years. Its been reliable for us. Upfront pricing and well known software. The support will get you going and be there when you need them.

What differentiates OpenMetal Hosted Private Cloud from other similar products?
Aside from the obvious cost benefit, the client support and willingness to work with us and innovate solutions differentiates OpenMetal from other cloud providers the most.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Cost, flexibility, of resource pools, and client support.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Some aspects of the Open Stack dashboard are not as flashy as other cloud providers.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Work with the team to craft solutions to any obstacles that may be present. They are very willing to explore solutions that will be beneficial to all parties involved.
