My favorite aspect of ParaSolution is its real-time collaboration features. They make it easy for teams to update and share business continuity plans, ensuring everyone stays aligned during critical situations.

What do you dislike most about this product?

What I dislike most about ParaSolution is that initial setup and customization can be time-consuming. It requires effort to tailor the platform to fit your organization’s specific continuity planning needs.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If you're considering ParaSolution, take time to thoroughly map your business continuity needs before setup. Engage key stakeholders early to streamline customization, and leverage training resources to maximize its collaborative features.

What differentiates ParaSolution from other similar products?

Not very familiar with competitors in the space.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Main landing page has fairly straight forward user interface.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Any and all template customizations require either a deep knowledge of the 'List Builder' section which is not user friendly at all or putting in a service ticket request with the help desk. Changes in a template don't automatically allow the cascading of data between templates (eg. from the risk assessment to the BIA to the continuity plan).

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I would recommend they prepare for a fair amount of time before the product is customized and integrated so it will function with the framework within their organization. The customer service and response time is top notch though, lots of support available upon request.

Plan Management Ability to assign tasks, schedule tasks i.e. due dates, report plan development status i.e. incomplete tasks, and automate sending task reminders.

Data Encryption Encrypt data in flight, while it's being uploaded/entered, and at rest, after it is uploaded/entered.

Import from other BCM Tools Import existing BCM documentation from other BCM tools not just as attachments, but import it as data into the new tool.

Role-Based Access Enable different levels of access based on role e.g. administrators can modify and see all data or department managers have access only to their data.
