What differentiates Agility CMS from other similar products?
The primary difference between Agility CMS and traditional CMS platforms lies in its headless architecture. While traditional CMS platforms combine the front-end and back-end, making content management and website design integrated within one system, Agility CMS separates the two. This allows content to be created and managed independently, and then delivered to any front-end or device via APIs. As a result, Agility CMS offers greater flexibility and scalability, enabling businesses to deliver content across multiple channels, while traditional CMS platforms tend to be more rigid and less adaptable for modern, multi-channel needs.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The main advantages of Agility CMS include its flexibility, scalability, and ease of use. As a headless CMS, it enables seamless delivery of content across multiple platforms, from websites to mobile apps. The ability to customize content models and workflows allows businesses to tailor the system to their specific needs. Its robust APIs facilitate smooth integration with third-party tools, enhancing functionality. Additionally, the user-friendly interface simplifies content management, while its cloud-based infrastructure ensures fast performance and reliability. These features make Agility CMS a great choice for growing businesses and enter
What do you dislike most about this product?
One disadvantage of Agility CMS is that, as a headless CMS, it may require more technical expertise to set up and manage compared to traditional CMS platforms. While it offers flexibility and customization, non-technical users may find it challenging to fully leverage its features without assistance from developers. Additionally, its reliance on APIs for content delivery may require more integration work, especially for businesses with complex requirements or legacy systems. This can increase the initial setup time and cost for organizations with limited technical resources.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Overall, Agility CMS stands out for its flexibility, scalability, and adaptability as a headless content management system. It allows businesses to efficiently manage and deliver content across various platforms through APIs, providing a high level of customization and integration options. While it offers significant advantages in terms of multi-channel delivery and future-proofing, its reliance on technical expertise for setup and management can be a challenge for non-technical users. Compared to traditional CMS platforms, Agility CMS provides more control over the content and design process but may require additional resources during implem

What differentiates Agility CMS from other similar products?
The important difference is that Agility CMS focuses on customization and extensibility. The site even has a marketplace through which you can purchase existing apps or even develop your own applications using the provided SDKs. This way it’s easier for users to contribute solutions and innovations and keep it evolving the platform. Additionally, Agility’s No Code Marketer app development separates it from competitors because it allows non-technical customers to personalize content management without coding.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
What’s also amazing is that Agility CMS easily integrates with today’s development platforms and is compliant with JAMstack architecture. The API-first design means that anyone can build statically generated sites, using frameworks such as Next.js or Gatsby.js that is easy to use and extremely fast and scalable. Next.js leveraging tools such as Preview Mode is another way Agility keeps developers comfortable. This combination of content management for editors and architecture designed for developers makes Agility CMS an adaptable platform for building fast, rich content online experiences.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The drawback is the lack of control over how the website looks once setup. Most changes also involve change requests, which may have extra charges and wait time. This lack of visual editing functionality can be frustrating for those used to more adaptable website builders or blogging platforms that allow you to modify the look of your website in an instant. Because depending on request for change for certain updates, project delays and other fees may arise, and it can be challenging for smaller businesses or those that often need to update.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Take into consideration long-term content planning and scalability. Agility CMS also takes care of the challenging content hierarchy and omnichannel content delivery that is ideal for any business that needs a mix of content, or is seeking to grow. But if your usage is very simple, or you need frequent visual customization without the intervention of developers, consider the benefits of the platform and the drawbacks of the platform when it comes to visual editing in real-time. Learn from Agility’s support and community what is best practices and ways to circumvent any limitations you experience.
